Calico’s quality department’s main function is to monitor the purchased components, the manufacturing processes, and the assembly operations. By using the customer’s specifications, Quality collects, prepares, and maintains product validation data.

 

The data may encompass:

  • Product Testing

  • Capability Studies Using Statistical Process Control Data

  • Color Matching

  • Develop Product/Process Quality Plans through APQP Process

  • Conduct Supplier Quality Assessments

  • Concern Response Methodology – Calico acknowledges & uses the 8D methodology in conjunction with standard 5-WHY, Fishbone Analysis and DOE as required. Calico performs concern response via three (3) basics:
